I'm Connor McKinnon
I come from a long line of entrepreneurs and small business owners. I’ve seen what it’s like to chase a dream. I’ve been part of that experience since I was young. I have now made my it my own mission to chase a dream like my parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
My graphic design experience started in 2006 working for my parent’s embroidery and laser engraving business. at the age of 15 I was designing trophy plates that ended up all over the world for a national championship coemption.
In 2017, as a side hustle, I started designing event posters and elements for social media for a local professional wrestling company that I preformed for.
in 2021 my wife, who is so encouraging and believes in me more than I will ever believe in myself, convinced me to pursue an actual career in graphic design by going back to school. I attended Milwaukee Area Technical College and received an AAS degree after I graduated with honors in January of 2023
In January 2024 I made the decision to take a chance on myself. so here I am, chasing a dream! In February of that year I started my own graphic design company: driftless Dreams Designs.
